Heroes – The Brains Behind Your Army 🧠⚔️

Heroes are the real MVPs on the battlefield. They lead your troops, boost their stats, and bring powerful skills to the fight. Each hero comes with unique abilities and attributes, letting you mix, match, and strategize your way to victory.

Heroes are divided by rarity, type, and role, which all affect how strong they are in different situations.

There are three hero factions:

  • Blood Rose

  • Wings of Dawn

  • Guard of Order

Building Formations (Teamwork Makes the Dream Work)

When building your formation and march, try to stick to one faction per team. The game rewards faction loyalty with tasty bonus buffs when all heroes belong to the same faction.

Important rule:
👉 Only invest in heroes you actually use in your main formation.
That means all EXP, skill books, power cores, and equipment go only to them.

Once your main heroes hit 5★, then you can start working on your second team and march.

Faction Buffs (Yes, They’re Huge)

Using heroes from the same faction gives you powerful bonuses:

  • 5 heroes from the same faction: +115% ATK and +10% faction bonus

  • 4 heroes from the same faction: +110% ATK and +7% faction bonus

  • 3 heroes from the same faction: +107% ATK and +5% faction bonus

More matching heroes = more damage = faster wins 😎

Troop Synergy (Match the Right Partners)

Pairing heroes with the correct troop type is super important.

Each faction shines with specific troops:

  • Blood Rose → Assaulters

  • Wings of Dawn → Shooters

  • Guard of Order → Riders

Why? Because their skills (especially the 3rd and 4th ones) usually boost those troop types. Match them right and watch your stats skyrocket.

Star Upgrades (4★ Is the Magic Number ⭐)

When upgrading stars, focus on getting all your formation heroes to 4★ first.

Why?
Because 4★ unlocks the hero’s 4th skill, and that’s a big power spike.

Going from 4★ to 5★ is nice, but it’s nowhere near as impactful as unlocking everyone’s 4th skill first.

Faction Counters (Who Beats Who)

Each faction counters another:

  • Wings of Dawn → beats Blood Rose

  • Blood Rose → beats Guard of Order

  • Guard of Order → beats Wings of Dawn

Counters give a 10% battle bonus, which can easily swing a fight.

Don’t have a full faction team? No problem.
You can run a 3 + 2 mix:

  • Fighting mostly Wings of Dawn? → 3 Wings of Dawn + 2 Blood Rose

  • Fighting mostly Blood Rose? → Same combo works great

Upgrading Hero Equipment (Do This the Smart Way)

Always max out your equipment level before promoting it.

Why?
Once equipment is promoted, it becomes more expensive to level up.
So remember: upgrade first, promote later.

Equipment Tips (Gear Matters)

Match gear to your hero’s role:

  • Attack heroes → use your best gun for max damage

  • Defense/tank heroes → use your best armor or boots for survivability

Got two high-rarity (orange) items?

  • Gun → attack hero

  • Armor → tank/defense hero

Easy win.

Getting Hero Fragments (Faster Star Upgrades)

Want to power up faster?
👉 Play events. Lots of them.

You can earn orange fragments from:

  1. Daily tasks – reward chests often contain fragments

  2. Full Preparedness – tons of orange, purple, and blue fragments

  3. Boomer Events – kill Boomers daily for fragments

  4. Truck Missions

  5. Big events like VS, SvS, Canyon Clash, Capital Clash

  6. Black Market – buy fragments with diamonds

Upgrading Equipment (Two-Step Process)

Equipment upgrades come in two parts:

  1. Equipment Level

    • Requires Enhancement Alloys

    • Earned from most events

  2. Equipment Promotion

    • Requires Power Cores (rare and valuable!)

    • Found in events like The Tyrant, Merit Shop, and special events

Spend those Power Cores wisely — they’re precious 💎😉
